Is it Statute Barred or not?

I have a credit card account being chased by Lowells, where my last payment was in May 2009 but the DN was not issued until October 2009. Is it safe to send them a Statute Barred letter now (after they contact me again with any demands)?

    New TSB Basic Account

I needed to open a new basic account for personal reasons this month, but with a trashed credit profile and bad debts to most of the high street names, it was a bit of a search - but I eventually settled on, and was accepted for, the TSB Cash Account with no problems.

    The TSB is a "new"...

  • Credit Files not changed as agreed in F&F settlement

    Hiya,

I suppose it is my fault not checking my CRA files regularly. in 2012 the written agreed full and final settlement was that on receipt of the money from a third party the creditor would mark the account settled, reduce the balance to £0 and close the account.

    They were...

    RBS Default Notice July 2012.

I've found my default notice from RBS and having researched the excellent information on this forum I reckon it's defecient. If that can be confirmed I'd be quite pleased. I'm also adding it to the database in case it's helpful to anybody else. I'm at the stage where mediation is not to far away....
