  • Ladders

    Hi,

Had rain last night and it was leaking through my sons roof. I know where the problem lies (split where the felt bends over at the front of the roof) and can do a fix if I can get access but need to buy some ladders to get up there.

We live in a Chalet type semi and it's the flat roof of the "chalet" bit that's the problem. There seems to be a few different heights on the Wickes website and I really don't have a clue what one's to get and can't seem to find any info the the web as to what height the "chalet" part is. Anyone got any ideas of the height ladder needed as I obviously need to get this sorted before the wood gets too badly wet and needs replacing as well ?

    Thanks

    Re: Ladders

Hi my hubby is a builder and says that its roughly 16 ft height so to be above it you will need a 25ft ladder hope that helps .that's about 8 metres.
if you do it today and you like it you can always do it again tomorrow

hi, always found these people very good for ladders:

make sure you get someone to foot the ladder for you.
