    Re: Denplan - Dentistry?

    guys this is my area

Denplan and other plan companies do not credit search, they couldn't afford too, they only administer the plans, if you default, the dentisit takes the hit.

Some dentists will offer interest free credit on large amounts of private treatment, this is independent of the dentist and is always through specialist finance companies, who will credit check you. Dentist pays a premium to company and thats how you get it "interest free"

Scorps if you are looking at a Denplan practice, they will want to do an assessment of your mouth. If its in a bad way.................it will cost.............a lot. They grade mouths into five categories, the more work that has been done or could be needing done, the more you will have to pay each month, worst mouths could be paying 40-50 per month for a realistic cost of treatment because remember its private treatment you are signing up to.

if you PM me I can ask around if there is a NHS practice in the area, where you'll still need to pay but a lot less. But remember NHS dentistry is largely emergency work, there is simply no budget for the latest and best treatments and it is very heavily regulated on what can be done. Ie anything over 350 cost to dentist has to be prior approved by local PCT.
