Sorry for popping up on this thread but every monday I take my child to after school club and every week while I'm waiting I pop into the supermarket next door,I usually end up picking up their 'offers' and spend a good £20 on things I hadn't budgeted for, but yesterday I left my debit card at home & just took £5 as I needed milk etc., and that's all I could buy,so couldn't be tempted this week although cadburys creme eggs were on offer and I did sneak one of those even though it wasn't on my list of essentials I will get better!!

The advice recently seems to be " Talk to Ma " - Government Money Advice Service ( not sure it will be much good judging their current performance though ! )
